- niamh ni dhiomasaigh Added 20/03/2018★ ★ ★ ★ ★The food was delicious and very well presented. I had beef cheeks and they were perfectly tender. The elder flower and lemon cheesecake had just enough elder flower notes.
The staff were friendly and very happy to answer questions about the menu. I even got a tour and the history of a very The interesting renovation.
The restaurant has a Tudor fireplace! Think 1500's! The building is steeped in history.
There even are rooms for parties and accommodation for rent above.
I think it would be an awesome place for a weekend getaway.
- Mark Lynch Added 28/12/2017★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆Pretty average fish (lots of batter, not much fish) and chips (deep fried to oblivion). It's probably wise to wait for a table at one of the better restaurants close by.
